Looks like we are good on shooters.

For all of you flatlanders start boosting your hydration level now. You are going to be working hard for 3 hours each day and Pueblo sits at 4700 feet. You can expect temperatures in the 90s during the day. Fortunately this isn't Dallas so the humidity level doesn't equal the temperature.

We will provide a sports drinks for the breaks, but make sure you also bring water with you.

Ice has been contracted and paid for.

When you send payment send your USAH member number with it. We will need it to show the rink that we are meeting the USAH insurance requirement. If you have already sent payment then PM or email me your membership number.

When: 31 July – 1 August

Ice Times: 0800-1115 with a zamboni break at 0930. Rink opens at 0715.

Cost: $125.00 (US funds or Krugerrands, no Loonies)

How to pay: Payment window is now open. Bolty and Willy put us over the top. Preferred payment method is check or money order so we don't have to give Playpal a cut.

Once we have the ice and insurance paid same rules apply as last year. No refunds after they are paid for.

Paying now helps out the people that have are waiting to book flights and rooms so get the payments in now.

Make sure with either payment method that you include your BB ID so I can check off who has paid and let me know when it is on the way.
If you post as a definite then be prepared to pay once we get things set and announce it. Same rules as last year, if for some reason that we do NOT get the amount of slots paid for to take care of the ice... then refunds will be issued.

How to get there:
Flying: There are a few flights that go into Pueblo Memorial Airport and the airport is about 9 miles (15 minutes drive time)from the hotels listed below http://pueblo.us/cgi-bin/gt/tpl_page.html,template=12&content=831&nav1=1&

Next closest airport is Colorado Springs, from there it is 40 miles and you will have a 45 to 60 minute drive to Pueblo. Your other choice is DIA in Denver. You can expect a drive of about 2 1/2 hours (135 miles) from DIA.
Driving: 1st Street exit (Exit 98B) off I-25. The rink is 4 blocks west on the corner of Grand & 1st Street. You will drive past both hotels on your way to the rink.

Lodging: You are on your own, last year there weren’t enough that took advantage of the arrangements to make it worthwhile. There are 2 hotels less than 5 minutes (about 3/10ths of a mile) from the arena as well as restaurants, river walk, and shopping centers about 10 minutes away. There are plenty of other hotels within 10-15 minutes.

If you are definitely in then post, we realize that many can’t commit until the details are more definite, but this gives you a mark on the wall. We will update as work progresses on locking everything in.

Rules of engagement:

• If for some reason that we do NOT get the amount of slots paid for to take care of the ice then refunds will be issued.

• No refund after the ice is paid for.

• Please make sure if you sign up that you will be coming, if not then it is up to you to someone interested in buying the slot from you.

• There will be hired shooters same as last year, just local to here.

• Format will be similar to last year. 3 hours ice time each day with 1 break for flood. Discussion about duration and number of stations has been taking place in the chat room. Join in or post your thoughts for Ryano & Cuj.
