Per your email earlier, Will and I will be at Friday night. Whether or not we do the BBQ Sunday will depend on how much drive time we're looking at going back. I gotta be back at work on Tuesday AM!

Some duffers have mentiond glof. Here are links to the local courses:

Walking Stick and Elmwood
http://www.pueblocitygolf.com/cgi-bi...t=1165&nav1=1&

Desert Hawk
http://www.golflink.com/golf-courses...?course=133545

If you still have a pulse you might try the kayak park instead:
http://pueblo.us/cgi-bin/gt/tpl_page...nt=949&nav1-1&

There is also the riverwalk and Union Avenue district with 40 different shops & restaurants if you prefer something a bit tamer. both are about 4 blocks from the rink:

Or Rock Canon Swim Beach at Lake Pueblo:

For the non-GPS types:

Is there a place closeby that does a good job sharpening skates? I'm not sure I'll have time to get mine done before I get out there, but I will want them nice and sharp before we get on the ice.

It's a half block west and around the corner from the Shamrock, right next to Solar Roast coffee shop.

Name: Hockey Cage
Street: 214 North Main Street
Pueblo, co 81003-3235
Phone: (719) 404-0195

Might not be open by the time you roll into town on Friday (I think they close at 1700) and definitely won't be open on Saturday before we hit the ice.

Downtown Pueblo is closed on Mondays, but I will check their hours tomorrow and post them.

This isn't Texas.

Liquor stores are open on Sundays and let me qualify my previous statement. Bars will be open on Monday so you can have your usual fare for breakfast.

Good to know.

I lived in East Texas in the late 70's through late the 80's coming from California. So I have personally lived through the "Blue Laws" as well as "Dry" counties. That was very foreign to a family coming from California. LOL

Ryano had mentioned a road trip to Players Bench on Saturday.

A cheap ploy on his part to visit this place:

http://www.bristolbrewing.com/

He's all about supporting goalies that brew beer.

If people have questions about what the PB has in stock let me know and I should be able to give you a pretty good idea. we've gotten a few new Brians and RBK sets in, as well as a pretty good stock of foam sticks, etc.

Bristol Brewery is excellent beer btw...
